Identification features
- Medium sized mammal with short legs
- Body fur is dark brown with a large creamy white patch between the head
and front legs

Droppings
Pine martens droppings are long with twisty ends. Sometimes coiled into a U-shape or spiral. They contain hairs, feathers and berries in autumn.
