Brown rats are widespread in almost any habitat, especially in urban areas where there is excess food.

Droppings

Foul smelling short 'tic-tak' shaped droppings which have blunt ends or one pointy end. They are blackish-brown in colour and up to 17mm long and 6mm wide.
